Baking with curiosity, eating with passion.
Born and raised in Istanbul, Ebru Eltemur developed an interest in baking at an early age. Her connection to food flourished with age as she dreamt of being a restaurateur.
She received her undergraduate degree in Curating and Art History from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2020. She went on to receive a Master’s Degree from NYU’s Food Studies program in 2024.
She has formerly held front of house and administrative positions at Tacos Guey, Ernesto’s and ILIS. After moving into back of house operations, she refined her technical skills as a pastry chef at Raf’s, while working as the Executive Assistant to Chef Camari Mick.
Her side project, MELT Studio, focuses on creating one-of-a-kind frozen desserts and ice cream flavors. MELT Studio’s clients include L’Apero in NYC and Lucca, TAVERN and Vakkorama Cafe in Istanbul.
